Sithokoziswe Ark - Godrej South Africa's Music and Learning Centre

Our team in Godrej South Africa launched a music and learning centre in Umlazi, Durban. The center offers underprivileged children from disadvantaged communities the opportunity to learn a musical instrument, as a constructive, engaging after-school activity.

This was set up at the Sithokozise Primary School in February, 2013. It has two classrooms in a converted container, complete with more than 40 instruments. Up to 850 children now have access to free musical education.
